I finally happened upon the term dyslexia and had my son tested – he had all the classic signs, and everything then fell into place. He is currently in his 3rd year at LKA. School is a fun, creative place for him now. He is allowed to be himself and is accepted for who he is. The teachers genuinely care for the students and help them focus on their strengths while overcoming their academic difficulties…Instead of seeing him in tears when I pick him up from school, he talks my ear off about all the fun things that happened at school that day. LKA has truly been a blessing!

In only about 4 months, Abigail has progressed in SO many areas on SO many levels! As a family, we all knew Abby was 'smart' so daily melt-downs and arguments about homework were totally out of the norm.
